Foy's Lake is a man-made lake in Chittagong. It was constructed by the Assam-Bengal Railway engineer Mr. Foy in 1924 near Khulshi not far from the Pahartali Railway Station in Chittagong. This lake is fairly big in size and was created by erecting an embankment across a narrow valley from one hill top to the other. The lake is next to Batali Hill, the highest hill in Chittagong Metropolitan area. The Foy’s Lake theme parks are located in a picturesque setting surrounded by hills, a lake and green forests located in Pahartoli, Chittagong on approximately 320 Acres of land.An amusement park, managed by the Concord group, is located here which features usual theme park rides and attractions as well as boat rides on the lake, landscaping, restaurants, concerts with floating stages, scenic walking trails and many other fun activities. The park includes a water theme park, resort and an amusement center. The Resort is the only place in Bangladesh that encompasses spectacular landscapes, historical wonders, magnificent views and adventurous rides in one place. The resort overlooks the Amusement World and Sea World theme parks, as well as the magnificent Foy’s Lake with its seemingly endless green hills. We have something for children of all ages, watch them play and have non-stop fun until they are ready for a good night’s sleep in their room. For truly lasting memories, stay at the Foy’s lake resort with your families, colleagues or special someone and experience our legendary hospitality.

There is another artificial lake close to the south of the Pahartali Railway Station, which was excavated by the same railway authority in 1920. Both the lakes are intended to serve as reservoirs for drinking water to the extensive railway areas of Chittagong. Both the lakes are tourist spots of Chittagong City and are regularly visited by local and foreign tourists. In order to attract more tourist, a mini-zoo has been set up at the entrance of the Foy's Lake.
